Carlo De Carli

(Milano 1910 – 1999)

“I have designed many furniture, each of them looking for dimension: they do not strive for effect, but for the size related to the household space.”

Carlo De Carli wanted to give shape to a “primary space”, namely a welcoming and harmonious place where spaces and objects are united by a mutual relationship. His furnishings are characterized by a perfect balance between design wisdom, executive technique and material quality, which made him a promoter of the renewal of Italian furniture production.
