Terence Harold Robsjohn Gibbings

A British architect and designer, Terence Harold Robsjohn-Gibbings drew his visual vocabulary from the classical world. His furnishings took inspiration from the furniture depicted on the Greek vases: while reworking them through original, imaginative designs, he offered something new and “untouched by time”. He collaborated with the American Widdicomb Furniture Company, where he combined classic Green elements with Art Deco details in order to reach a modern historicism.
